The Ceremony

Depending on the weather or season, you may prefer the climate-controlled comfort of an indoor wedding. Equipped with both heat and air conditioning, our Grand Hall provides a pleasant option when the weather is anything but.
The Grand Hall
Warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and beautiful all year long, the Grand Hall at Silver Spur Ranch has everything you need to host a wedding, reception, or other event in indoor comfort. This inviting space perfectly complements the vibe for any wedding, from shorts and sundresses to cowboy hats and jeans to top hats and tails.
Inside, our Grand Hall feels open and airy, with adequate room for around 325 guests but the capacity to accommodate more. And its impressive features provide plenty of detail and character that include vaulted ceilings, intricate chandeliers, and large picture windows offering both natural light and stunning views.
The combination of timeless beauty, Western elegance, and modern details promotes a charming and captivating atmosphere while providing protection from Mother Nature’s unyielding elements.
Bridal Suite
When it comes to the Bridal Suite, we spared no expense in creating a cozy space to pamper the bride and her bridesmaids leading up to the big moment. You cannot imagine a more beautiful place to prepare for your wedding.
This modern room features marble flooring with classy décor to create a relaxed and welcoming environment for getting ready in style. Take advantage of our professional hair and makeup stations, which include large mirrors and high-quality lighting to ensure every detail is just right.
Groom’s Lounge
This contemporary retreat provides a sophisticated space for the groom and groomsmen to relax, unwind, and hang out. With ample space that includes a bar table, comfortable seating, and masculine décor, the Groom’s Lounge creates a rugged-yet-cozy atmosphere for getting ready and bonding before the ceremony.
Outdoor Terrace
You can’t beat the view or the service of our Outdoor Terrace.
Featuring a garage door that opens directly to the Grand Hall, this flexible space is ideal for hosting cocktail hour or wedding rehearsal, or for extending your party or reception to the outdoors. Pull up a bar stool at any of the high-top tables and enjoy drinks and conversation with friends, family, and guests.
The Silver Suite
There’s no better place to unwind and rest at the end of your wedding day than in our Silver Suite. This premium space has a private entrance and features quiet comfort, extraordinary scenic views, and a romantic atmosphere designed exclusively for the bride and groom. Our Exclusive package gives you and your guests access to the property throughout the weekend. Includes a two-night stay for the bride and groom in our luxurious Silver Suite as well as a rehearsal dinner, the wedding ceremony, and a Sunday-morning brunch or gift opening party.
This is your wedding done your way. We invite you to decorate the space to match your style, theme, colors, and preferences. We provide chairs for the wedding ceremony as well as tables and chairs for the reception.
Your Three-Day Wedding Weekend
Get set to start your happily ever after in the heart of the Black Hills landscape and create memories that will last longer than a lifetime. This two-day wedding package is available Friday to Saturday or Saturday to Sunday. The Silver grants you, your wedding party, and guests access to the Grand Hall, Bridal Suite, and Groom’s Lounge for wedding prep, the ceremony, and the reception.
We provide chairs for the ceremony along with tables and chairs for your reception. So, you can focus on your day, your vows, and your fairytale wedding.

If I get married at Silver Spur Ranch, what is included with my event?
We provide all the space and amenities you need for a beautiful ceremony and a lifetime of memories. Your wedding here includes:

How many people can Silver Spur Ranch accommodate?
Our Grand Hall has room for around 325 guests, with the option to accommodate more. And our 20-acre lot provides scenic, outdoor space as far as the eye can see.
Do you offer indoor and outdoor ceremony options?
Yes, depending on seasonal and weather conditions. You can choose to have your wedding ceremony in one of several areas outdoors, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Black Hills. We can also host weddings in our Grand Hall, a temperature-controlled space indoors. With heat for the colder months and air conditioning for hot summer days, this location is ideal for a comfortable indoor wedding, with large windows that overlook the gorgeous South Dakota scenery.
Is there a deposit, and when is it due?
A deposit is dependent on your rental fee. In order to reserve your requested date, you would need to sign a contract with a deposit. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to your event.
Are there areas for the bride, groom, and wedding party to change and get ready?
Yes. For the bride and her bridesmaids, we have an elegant Bridal Suite that provides ample space and privacy as well as professional hair and makeup tables, full-length mirrors, and an abundance of outlets for a variety of styling tools. We also have a polished and comfortable Groom’s Lounge, where the gentlemen can prepare and relax before the ceremony.
Does Silver Spur Ranch host a rehearsal dinner or morning-after brunch?
We can do either or both, depending on the days and dates requested for your wedding. Contact us to discuss options, including the possibility of renting space the day before or after your event at a discount.
What is your cancelation policy?
The deposit for reserving your requested date is nonrefundable.
Does Silver Spur Ranch provide catering?
We have a large prep kitchen available for you to use but ultimately leave the decision on menu and caterers to you. After all, this is your day, and we understand the importance of having your own personal touches. If you would like us to recommend local caterers, we have a list of reputable vendors that we will gladly share with you.
Where can I find alcohol for guests at my event?
Branding Iron Steakhouse & Social Club is our preferred vendor, licensed to serve beer, wine, and liquor.
Can we bring our own decorations?
Absolutely. In fact, we encourage you to decorate as you wish to ensure your wedding or event looks exactly the way you envisioned. Please be aware that we do have some restrictions to safeguard the integrity of the venue and its buildings. We can discuss these with you when you tour Silver Spur Ranch or at your request.
Do you have a separate place for cocktail hour?
Our covered outdoor patio is the perfect spot for your cocktail hour. You and your guests will enjoy stunning sunsets and views of the Black Hills, with ample space to mingle in comfort. The outdoor terrace has indoor/outdoor service access, with a roll-top door for guests to proceed inside once dinner service begins. We can also provide high-top cocktail tables or whiskey barrels for an additional charge.
Is there on-site parking?
Yes. The property has a large, paved parking lot and plenty of flat, dry land for overflow.
