What is the venue's guest capacity?
Silver Spur Ranch can comfortably accommodate about 350 guests, with the option for more across our 20-acre lot. Our spacious Grand Hall and expansive outdoor areas provide plenty of room for celebrations, both large and intimate.
Do you offer indoor and outdoor ceremony options?
Yes, we do! We offer several scenic outdoor ceremony sites with breathtaking views of the Black Hills. In the event of inclement weather, our climate-controlled Grand Hall features a stunning indoor space in front of floor-to-ceiling windows, ensuring your wedding is beautiful regardless of the forecast or season.
What is included in the wedding rental fee?
Our wedding packages include exclusive use of the property for your designated days, access to the climate-controlled Grand Hall as well as the Bridal Suite and Groomsmen Lounge, and on-site parking. We also provide chairs for your ceremony, along with tables and chairs for your reception.
Can we host our rehearsal dinner or a Sunday brunch on-site?
Absolutely. In fact, we encourage it! Our Exclusive package is designed for couples who want a full-weekend wedding experience, including time for a Friday rehearsal dinner and a Sunday morning brunch or gift opening. For other packages, additional days may be available at a discounted rate.
What time is check-in and check-out?
For full-day rentals, access to the Silver Spur Ranch begins at 9 a.m. To comply with local Belle Fourche and county ordinances, we ask that all music wraps up and guests depart by midnight.
Do you have spaces for the bride and groom to get ready?
We sure do! Silver Spur Ranch has a luxurious Bridal Suite and a dedicated Groom’s Lounge. The Bridal Suite features marble flooring, classy décor, and professional makeup stations for getting ready in style. The Groom’s Lounge includes a bar table, comfortable seating, and masculine décor, so the gentlemen can relax and bond prior to the ceremony.
What are your alcohol and catering policies?
This is your wedding day, so we want to make sure it’s done your way with your personal touches. We have a large prep kitchen for use but leave the decisions on menu and caterers up to you. And you have the freedom to choose any vendors you like, though we can provide a list of trusted local favorites.
For alcohol, our preferred local vendor is The Branding Iron Steak House & Social Club, licensed to serve beer, wine, and liquor.
Can we bring our own decorations?
Definitely! We encourage you to decorate as you wish so your wedding looks exactly how you want. There are, however, some restrictions to safeguard the integrity of the venue and buildings. We can discuss these at your request.
Is there on-site lodging available for the bride and groom or their guests?
Our Exclusive wedding package includes a two-night stay in the Silver Suite for the bride and groom. For guests, the ranch is conveniently located near several hotels and lodging options in Belle Fourche and Spearfish. We also have on-site parking for RVs, motorhomes, and travel vans for out-of-town guests.
How do we secure our wedding date at Silver Spur Ranch?
To reserve your wedding date, we require a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to your event. Before booking, we recommend scheduling a tour to visit Silver Spur Ranch in person and see everything we have to offer.
Is the property pet friendly?
We know your pets are family, and they deserve to celebrate, too. Silver Spur Ranch is a pet-friendly wedding venue, though we do require prior approval and ask that pets remain supervised throughout the event.
